ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Brandon - A Sound Designer, Composer, Mix Engineer and Musician. Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, I currently live in South Florida, USA with my beautiful wife. 

I am fascinated with the power that music and sound has in storytelling, and its ability to communicate and envelope all into a single experience.

I have 5 years of full-time professional experience in audio/music mainly in the realm of promos, commercials, channel branding and the advertising industry. 

I’ve composed music for 8 different advertising campaigns. 

As a sound designer/mix engineer, I’ve worked on 1000+ promos/commercials as well as a large number of radio ads. 

I’ve worked on 3 cartoon series, 4 Short films, 2 multi-episode Podcast shows and 2 feature length films.

Many of the projects I’ve worked on have won or been nominated for Promax & Loeries Advertising Awards.

In 2020, I placed 14th in the “Sound Design” category of the Loerie Awards - which is comprised of the African Continent and the Middle East. 

I was the principle sound designer and final mix engineer for the short film, “Oasis” which was nominated in the “Film Crafts - Best Sound Design” Category of the 2021 Loeries Awards. 

In my spare time and as a side hustle of sorts I've been fortunate to record, mix and master many talented bands/artists. 

For close to a decade I was one of the principle FOH Sound Engineers at Riverside Community Church, Johannesburg, South Africa; mixing everything from Sunday morning services to special events.
